With our children (babies-5th grade) we meet Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:
45am. The curriculum is called Kidstuf (yes, it’s spelled correctly with one “f”)
and it focuses on teaching the children biblical virtues that apply to everyday
life. In addition, each month we have a blowout dramatic/musical performance
on a Friday evening. This experience is fun for all ages and reinforces the
monthly virtue the kids learned during the month in their Sunday morning
program. It also gives parents the chance to meet the Sunday school teachers and
see how valuable the program is for their children.
For our students (6th grade-
12th grade), we have C.H.A.O.
S on Sunday evenings from 5-
7pm. C.H.A.O.S stands for
Christ Honored and Others
Served. This meeting time at
the church is a place where
kids naturally build
relationships with each other
while learning important
biblical principles that will
guide them as they mature and
become adults.
It also provides opportunities for our youth to serve their community in a variety
of ways.
Adults have numerous opportunities to plug in. We offer classes on Sunday
mornings from 9:45-10:45am. In addition, we have several small groups that
meet throughout the week at various times. Small groups meet in people’s homes
and provide an environment for sharing how God’s story is woven into our
lives. All of our adults are encouraged to choose the environment that they are
most comfortable with.
Our weekly worship services
are on Sundays at 8:30am and
11:00am. We have many
opportunities for people to use
their talents and abilities to
serve the Lord.

The mission of the Oak Ridge Free
Methodist Church is to “Know God
and to Make Him Known”. In other
words, we want to help people grow in
their relationship with Jesus Christ
while introducing Him to those who
don’t know Him yet. We choose to do
this in all age groups with worship,
community and service.
